Default going back in time in dreams

For years i have always the same dreams
In some dreams i see myself as a child back in old houses where we did live and dreaming the same story

Other dreams are almost the same and are about left jobs
Dreaming about the work i did

Whats that all about and why always the same stories??

Maybe its your souls way of trying to deal with it? I know I have had repeditive dreams since I was a child. Are they more frequent lately? Perhaps your subconscious is saying..let it it go!

Typically in post traumatic stress, dreams about your past would have to leave you with a sense of dread once you wake up. However, if you have a trauma that has been repressed deeply enough, you're going to experience via a neurotic behavior of some sort. For example, I went through some tough traumas as a kid that left me so I couldn't urinate in a public restroom. I just simply couldn't urinate. If I touched someone or cuddled with someone for too long I would get agitated and I would begin to shake. Your dreams, thus unable to accurately tell you what happened that was bad as a child that you didn't get over, that you have repressed so deeply, can only point at the sign that points at the specific trauma.

Once you understand what the trauma is, you need to release the emotions and with willed intent, let it go.

    I should become a psychologist.

I don't think I said it was easy? I was just trying to help get to the bottom of frequent repetitive dreams.

I would also like to say that the sub-conscious has a tendency to use dreams in order to filter out non-sense that it has collected over time. If our Higher Self recorded every time we have taken a ****, it would probably be a divine experience to take a **** or possibly one of extreme anxiety. It is for this reason that our sub-conscious is a filter for our higher self.

Thus you have dreams that are non-sensical entirely with random images from daily life. But if it is pointing to the past then it is probably the Gestalt Principle... it is the function of the mind to make sense of something. That is why when you're little you can look up at the sky and not see clouds but actually your favorite animal.
