I am becoming more then I would ever thought I would ever become.
I know it sounds ridiculous to people who are taking a fresh look at this but there is a great deal of legitimate evidence and testimony out there to prove this. I won't believe it completely until I have an actual experience with one but I for one take this subject seriously due to it's profound and horrific implications.
For anyone who is new to this I suggest looking into Alex Collier and David Icke for more information.
No slave, No master.
Sadly...yes. I think it stems from the parents who let their kids stay up to late and watch "V" back in the late 80's...strangely I was one of those kids, but the only damage it did to me was give me a perverse sense of pleasure and power when biting the heads off marshmallow mice...Do people really believe that there is a Reptilian race out there and on earth but in physical forum taking on human identity?
Prick your finger it is done
The Moon has now eclipsed the Sun
The Angel has spread its wings
The time has come for bitter things
Read about Atavistic Resurgance. There is always some truth to any falsehood.
yea they are here and they rule the world..they are the power behind the govs...but no worries they are arrogant and scared of what we are becoming....a bad combo for them
David Icke's theory of a section of our brain that is leftover from when we were still in the evolutionary process -> The Reptilian BrainAustin Spare's work with Atavistic resurgence has proved well linked with the Zos Kia cultus. Atavisms are a resurgence of characteristics which have elapsed many generations. It is also possible to connect with pre-human embodiments through such elementals. Atavisms exist in the deepest recesses of the mind and often are characterized as half beast, half man. Such creatures do not emerge spontaneously, however can be invoked through several methods of automatic "shamanism" and focus pathworkings. - Michael W. Ford

I take Icke with a huge dose of salt. His theory of the reptilian brain, in my opinion, is pretty shaky. It's barely possible to tell what part of the brain he actually thinks is the reptilian brain. It looks like perhaps the pons (which by the way is responsible for sleep, respiration, swallowing, bladder control, hearing, equilibrium, taste, eye movement, facial expressions, facial sensation, and posture, not really all that reptilian.) although his drawings are so vague as to defy accurate identification and comparison. He goes on to assert that dreaming is this reptilian brain continuing it's symbolic thought process. That would be compelling if we didn't understand what dreaming looks like in the brain and it more or less dances around any part that could even be roughly construed to be the "reptilian brain". The areas active during REM sleep include complex visual processing, memory formation, attention, motivation, emotion and arousal, which neatly explains why penile and clitoral stimulation occurs during dreams which have no sexual content. It has nothing to do with aggression and sex in the "reptilian" brain.
Many of the traits he describes as "reptilian" are present in more or less every species on the planet, even those that predate reptilian evolution, like insects. It has nothing to do with atavistic reptilian traits. Instead it's about the way DNA got programmed on this planet. Most species have some sort of display, either coloration or physical, to attract a mate. Most species are somewhat territorial, particularly when it comes to mating. Many spiders perform elaborate mating dances and rituals, complete with coloration displays. Would this mean they are acting upon impulses from their "reptilian" brain? Or perhaps we all have arachnoid brains or insectoid brains?
He also relies on outdated split brain thinking. Neurologists and scientists have long since figured out that the brain does not divide duties up between the right and left hemisphere in such a cut and dried manner as was once thought. There is a great deal of overlap between the two hemispheres. I think that's what bothers me the most about Icke is that he never seems to really look into his own theories. It's as if he expects people to just take his word for it. The problem is even someone with a basic knowledge of anatomy and biology can pick it apart. I just do not think his theories hold water at all and it does all sound suspiciously like V.
I have my own theory about alien theorists like Icke. I think they are heavily influenced by pop culture and hysteria. For example why is it that the UFO's we see evolve along with our technology? In the 50's they all seemed to look like pie pans or Frisbees, flying saucers. As our technology evolved, especially entertainment, our UFO's evolved. We started getting just lights and cigar shaped UFO's. Post Roswell our concept of aliens changed too. They became the Greys we are all so familiar with today. Then you have V and the birth of the reptilian alien. I think it is sheer arrogance to assume the humanoid norm for an alien species. There are thousands of bio-mechanically more efficient forms so why is it our aliens always look like us, more or less? The mind boggling number of differences between Earth and even an Earth-like alien world would create very different species, whole new evolutionary trees. We see humanoid aliens because our TV has taught us that that is how they should look. Icke and others either get swept up in or prey upon that hysterical wave and you end up with things like the Reptilian Brain and the Illuminati in league with cold blooded Reptiles to rule the world. It doesn't hold up to scrutiny though.
Vir, I could not have put it better myself.
I watched some of Ickle's video, from his body language and the way he speaks (such as tone and force) it is very clear that he's trying to project his theory and his need to belive this is real onto the viewer, though, this clearly does not work when one looks at it with an open mind. He is desperate in his goals which have no credit or standing no matter how much he emphisises or tells his story.
I then proceeded to watch some of Shaman Credo, I know little of this man as I write this and will probably do a bit more research, however, personally, I will not be believing a word this man says for a multitude of reasons.
Well, thats my input, and no, I do not belive that the human brain has a Reptillian part, if they were that clever, they would not have chosen us in the first place.
We're still in the evolutionary process. I mean we're kind of screwing ourselves by eliminating all the natural controls and pressures, but humanity is still in just as much genetic flux as we ever were, more really because "fittest" describes a very large percentage of Homo sapiens now so there's more crap DNA floating around in the gene pool than you would have found a few thousand years ago.
As to the original topic, yeah, people apparently do believe it; people believe all kinds of crap.
