good point Vir Sapiens...
He mentioned religion? I'm sorry D but I don't quite understand the point your making. Did he say something about religion in another post that I should be aware of, or did I skip over something in his original post?
I always thought atheism is a complete lack of faith in anything/ whatever it may be. Being raised by Agnostics, I find it hard to accept anything nowadays. Its programed into me to have a lack of spiritual faith in anything. In Fishcakes post, I didn't see any evidence of UFOs in the bible.
However, I do recognize or at least play with the theory that the enochian spirits may be extra terrestrial super evolved beings, who want to either take our energy or give us some, in order for us to evolve to their state. I'm not sure what to take out of that theory, but it could be a physical explanation to a lot of magic. Supposedly all magic is due to a universal cypher that holds words of power. The words of power are used in whatever.
In what you are suggesting, are the angels or UFOs responsible for the pyramids? In this reference to the Bible I am a little confused, as well as the assumption that you have to believe in the afterlife in order to believe UFOs. It doesn't sit with me correctly.
The Coral Castle in Florida is a great example of what a single man is capable of doing. If the pyramids weren't such a "common" form around the world and the many examples of the earlier and less "perfect" pyramids around Egypt, I would probably have second thoughts on the extraterrestrial theory. The most mysterious part of the Giza plateau to me is the Sphinx.
\"What is mind? No matter.\"
\"What is matter? Never mind.\" - Homer Simpson.
read the lost book of enki, bear creek press.
it is a sumarian book, and the genocide of the sumarians caused the pyramids to be built, and it turned into the ongoing "people caught doing obscene things with opium in ancient times" project
I have seen a thousand thousand civilizations rise and fall upon the Mother of All Things. As pipes play, echoing off the mountains and across the Ocean, until it fades at the edge of time, the end of All... - book of the gate called pan
Did the Egyptians just find them maybe? Perhaps even they didn't know who made them but being silly, just said they did it themselves? Do pyramids even play into any other part of Egyptian culture other than a place they lived by and put dead kings into?

Don't talk to familiars
Apparently I have heard of this about Eygptians having Aliens build the pryamids, and the theory was highlighted in the David Icke book called 'The Biggest Secret'.
David Icke is a bit out there, even amongst us weirdos.
I'm pretty sure Egyptians built the pyramids. Why? Humans just like to do this kind of thing. It's fun for us or something. As for the technology levels they had, well its hard to say. Maybe they weren't as stupid or as backwater as we think they are. Or maybe they were and just had lots and lots of slave labor!
I like to think of this. If our people died out, instantly and somewhere in the future humans found the ruins of New York city, what would they think? Almost all of our information now is stored on computer, digital, or at best even the hard copies are on flimsy cds and paper. Time and elemental forces of nature would destroy most all of our records. Only the steel skeletons might remain.
To someone stumbling on that after loosing all context it would be baffling. What are these structures? What were they used for? They have strange carvings and some have statues. Were they temples? Why didn't they leave any written records? How did they do such things? They don't seem to have had any technology. Aliens....
Don't talk to familiars
You have a good point there, and yes it was humans who built the pryamids.
Just thinking of New York City, it is now the new Rome of civilisation isn't it.
David Icke is just a businessman in the Conspricarcy game, and I personally have had a lot of stick from his idiotic followers.
Just think of this weird fact, many who claim that Aliens built the Pyramids will always say something like 'We did not go to the Moon'.
I do believe in Aliens but I feel that this knowledge is delibrately suppressed from all of mankind.
