Many will tell you that animals are more sensitive to the subtler realms. So, in essence, yes, they can 'see' ghosts, or spirits.

But every time your dog freaks out doesn't mean it's a ghost. Nor every time it's calm means there's nothing around
People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the huge waves of the seas, at the long course of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering. - st. Augustine

Appalachian "Granny" magic says that if you see a dog staring at something you can't see then you should look between the dog's ears like the sight of a gun and that you will be able to see it as well. Also a knot hole in a piece of oak or willow is supposed to produce the same effect.

I believe that they can see into the higher realms just beacuse there minds are at a more mellow state if you will and that they are not like us and dont really worry about worldy things. But it is fasinating my dog will sometimes when im doing things such as scrying will freak out and want out of my room after i am done it is calm and ok very strange but intreging.

I have heard the babies thing as well my aunt recently had twins and i love to watch them they will look at something and just stare at it and almost like they see something i try to see what they see but there minds are at the perfect state of consciousness to be able to see spirits and into the higher realms only if they could maintain that state imagine what they could achieve.

I think all Occultists have a more "less polluted" minset than those of general society, which is why we're able to understand/accept the the things that we do.

I think all animals can see ghosts and all paranormal things.Since they all communicate telepathically it stands to reason they could see ghosts and the like.

hi guys, sorry to dig up old posts but id like to write about my cat, he really old lol probably crazy in the head already, but he stares for long times at the top of the stairs. Then he climbs half way up and turns around and looks up again. Sometimes he meaws while at it.

Then sometimes he comes down, and stops and looks back as if he was waiting for someone to follow him.

So yea, i believe animals perceive things we dont. i also think those presence's feel more comfortable around animals and children, i guess they are less bothering and more understanding, but thats just me.
