    Default Bacchus/dionysus

I have been calling upon him lately and my findings have been crazy. What is your experience?

Typically he has helped me in terms of finding my own spark of divinity/higher self. He has also helped me in terms of rebirth and becoming unconditioned... and completely feeling alive.

Normally in a state of wild ecstasy or intoxication I will call upon the God of the vine and offer energy to him.

I have a connection with this deity that I myself don't understand.

    Praise Eleutherios!

How do you guys call upon him? Err what's your method? The way I evoke is I need the sigil for them (which can be pretty limited seeing as I can't always find one, and i'm bad at making my own sigils heh).

In short, i'm looking fora succesful method to call upon entities without needing their sigil (hopefully I can just use their english name)

Cast a circle of energy, call upon the elements in their respective quarters, then you'd have to go and call upon him with the intent of him joining the circle... then give an offering of energy or some sort... ask nicely why you want the deity there... praise your deity, then tell the deity that the deity may leave if they wish or stay if they desire - that is just polite.

This was a basic alexandrian working. There is a book called ''The Craft'' which basically explains this a bit more in depth and is very practical if you can get a hold of it.

Wine, cider, spirits... Not beer, though. I think the hops have too much of a sedative effect.
