Okay, how do candles protect?
How is this a "spell"? It just sounds like meditation work to me. In fact, i dont see why you need to cast a circle, unless to get centered, or even so, the meditation itself should center, unless you are doing other magickal work...
But really, i don't quite get it. All you need to do is act like you dont want to be noticed, and thats it. I don't see how this is magickal except for the fact that you might be in a deeper mindset then normal, but really.
Explain it to the n00b, please?
EDIT: Oops im late to the party, and he's banned,. ugh.

"Oh pleeese! all you have to do when you run into any one is either make total eye contact and go into their mind and say you do not see me, or walk by them with your eyes turned the other way."
Do you mean that one should audibly utter the statement/command, "you do not see me," or should the words be internally vocalized? Whichever route you are suggesting, I think it would be interesting to explore more precisely the means by which this method produces its results. Averting one's eyes is a cue that one is not interested in social contact, but it alone hardly carries the same degree of efficacy associated with the traditional magical power of invisibility. Nevertheless, I would not be surprised if (for the sake of speculation, I will assume that there is in fact a power of magical invisibility that corresponds, to a greater or lesser degree, with the traditional description) magical invisibility employed these lower-level social cues, while, at the same time, also making use of more "occult" forces.
Yes they are hard to do, and it takes a bit of energy to do then.
Literally turning invisible would be impossible because your skin would have to change. Okay maybe not impossible but incredibly hard.
Being less noticed, you can use body language, e.g keeping head down, avoiding eye contact, dressing in a manner that doesn't make you stand out.
You can also program your aura to make you less noticeable.
I suppose it wasn't much of a spell looking back at all of this. Man, I don't remember half of this stuff. I suppose this is a bit off topic, but who is or was Lady Dunsany? And again, maybe all this is old news, but why exactly am I being attacked here?
Man, it's been a while.

Oh and the part about not being a spell, you guys are right in that aspect. It's not even a meditation. Looking back at some of the stuff I thought might have been difficult is kind of funny.
