I have sifted through the pages of the title subject. It is replete with inter-cursing, perversities and violence with the spiritual wisdom sprinkled here & there.

I will tell Anti. Thank You for pointing it out.
Hindu mythology isn't so much a myth but more a big symbol of the universe.
brahma vishnu shiva are god's and also concepts. You can take it either way.
In other pagan systems, we have crop gods, sexy time gods, and money gods. These are just representations and at the same time the become an actual God. But the hinud system just has god/symbols of "higher" concepts such as creation destruction and the universal description of Brahman.
Kali of course being the coolest.

there is a reason for every thing in the hindu books, and the stories are not a blueprint for destroying the world. Kali is a lower chakra mandala. you may think it is cool but sex is just a biological speedball with a woman's coke
...poppycock
I don't believe you have even glimpsed, let alone understand the truth of the hindu concepts

I have seen a thousand thousand civilizations rise and fall upon the Mother of All Things. As pipes play, echoing off the mountains and across the Ocean, until it fades at the edge of time, the end of All... - book of the gate called pan

Anyways,
What was your argument? That the Hindu religious traditions are not a "blue print for destroying the world"? Yeah, you are right, and that is exactly what I said. Nice catch.
Kali is destructive. Mostly. In tantric practices she may even replace Brahman as the ultimate reality. But commonly, she kills demons and causes problems. Garuda had to call her for help once because she got in trouble fighting Raktabija.
She is Shivas consort for god's sake. Shiva is his own consort so she must be doing something right. He really dosen't have much of a designated shakti and I like one of the most insane blood thirsty beings hooked up with him.
I really dig the concept of Brahman though. What a wondeful symbol that is.
But after my years with the Hari Krishnas, sleeping in airport bathrooms, trying to spread flowers and get new members, I departed from orthodoxy. Phew! Now I just have a casual new age understanding of the deeper occult secrects of the exotic far off religion of Hinduism! Like totally.

I just mean, I am part romani gypsy, and in the book krshna when romaharsana was killed by balarama, lord of the Universe with a blade of grass, he had to fight a demon. now my friend whose name is Bal*ma is trying t kill me by being a succubus, or she is just stupid. Since the book is about Krshna, one would have to wonder then if krishna's war was just for this happening between the two families
also, I know a Shiva and his sister from India who as a child always had to go to special school because of the fish poison attributed to this god, the mahala. He was also raped back in India as a child, why there are i love shiva bollywood nights
in the city, but we see nothing from that and it only fuels the people who attacked me : I was attacked with psionics in the same menner by someone connected to DJ Taj.
then years later I see some guy in the yuppie neighborhood near here, east Indian, in a wheelchair with his legs cut off, totally missing.
You just like the "golden triangle" executioner. He is part Gypsy, i have talked to him many a time
I could see how kali could be higher than the highest priest, after seeing what a nasty vampire woman can do

when I was a teenager, I used to think Hinduism had too many gods, a bunch of psychobabble, and completely fake cosmology. How completely wrong I was cannot be measured. While there are many precepts in Hinduism I do not believe, there are principles, powers, and precepts within that complement or complete innumerable holes in western thought. Ironically, there are similar principles in Qabbalah and Gnostic offshoots that complement or complete mysteries within Hinduism.
A western person should not approach the Hindu mythology until after apprehending Carl Jung, and Neoplatonism. After delving into Hinduism for some time, that person should have solid ground to approach the Tao Te Ching.
Kali can be more like thought of as gratuitus and can be good for figuring things out, especially when something is wrong. I always found it to be a root chakra mandala.
I believe when Balarama killed Romaharsana with a blade of grass and then the grass was forbidden it was to hide an interior temple of plant runners and to steralize the grass from outside influence...Kali can be a place where on the same incense people are doing stupid crap since it involves root, the opposite of brain, and so I would take that intop consideration

and if something is wrong with your root chakra, like being depressed over someone this can definitly lead to death
