While I have no personal axe to grind with Dr. Aquino or the ToS, I wouldn't exactly call his CoS book an objective history of the CoS. For instance, his claim that he resigned from the CoS to protest Dr. LaVey's selling of CoS titles is simply not true. Not a single known instance of Dr. LaVey ever selling a CoS title has ever come to light. As such, I would take what Dr. Aquino has to say on the issue with a grain of salt.
