Be careful. Awakening the Kundalini when you are not ready can cause more problems than the benefits you are seeking.
Take it slow.
There are many ways to heal, balance and awaken your chakra - via colour therapy, breathing techniques, yoga asanas, and meditation.
Kundalini can easily be awakened but you should first heal, balance and awaken your chakras. Research is your priority and Google is your friend.

There is a certain meditation and breathing technique that awakens the Kundalini. I have not yet tried it, for I know I am not ready. Some of my chakras are still unbalanced (I still have anger issues at times which has to do with an unbalanced chakra) but I am working on fixing it. Once I am completely satisfied I will be awakening my Kundalini.
Like I said, it is risky if you are not ready. Just like completely activating your pineal gland can be risky if you are not entirely ready either.
