Here are two books that can help someone get started on this:

As far as those treatises are concerned, I do not have a personal opinion, because I have not read them; just heard about them. Thought it'd be helpful for us, beginners.

I thought it was kinda fluffy

Well, ''The Wizard's Apprentice'' approaches magick through Wicca; in contrast to Fabrato's iih. This second treatise, is influenced from Orient, it's more like a blending of different magickal approaches, nicely done though. And that's why I (personally) prefer It, as far as the practise and the theory are concerned.

I have the book, as a matter of fact, I attend the Grey School.

Well, I have to thank you both for your advices and I'm sorry for my inactivity. The reason is that I'm studying like a maniac for this year's exams and I'm afraid that I'll stay a bit stagnant in these matters ... Anyways how does it feel like attending the grey school? Is it a good experience?
