On June 21st, 2007, a member over at Lashtal, going under the handle 'wulfram', who I assume is Bob Freeman over at occultdetective.com, was asking about a rare occult text or grimoire, they posted...
"Not being in my library, and thus unable to check my notes on the subject, a rarity that was rumored to be circulating in the late seventies is a grimoire whose title tranlated as The Book of Dead Trees. Three copies, painstakingly by hand, were said to be out and about, and it was said at the time that Grant was in possession of one of them."
The Grant he is referring to here is Kenneth Grant (the man behind the Typhonian garble) and unfortunately no one responded to his post, or if they did, they did so out of the public eye (as in, private message or email). I have already attempted to contact Bob Freeman, both by email [email protected] and on Facebook (aswell as on the Lashtal forums themselves via private messaging 'wulfram') and it is to no avail as he has not responded in any fashion whatsoever. So I'm posting on here to find out if anyone knows anything about this text or how/where to obtain this text. It does seem like a text that would be of interest to me, hence I am inquiring. One of the reasons I wrote Freeman was to ask about his notes (which he didn't have on hand at the time he posted that) for more details and to ask if he's made any headway in searching for the grimoire.
