Thread: Freeform Spellcasting

So this is a new development for me, but I've discovered that I can cast spells without the actual 'spells' anymore. Sure, some factors may be used as strengtheners to the general affects, but I've found that I no longer need all the pizazz to get my spells to work. Anyone else experience this? All I do is force my will to the front of my mind (very focused of course) and then view it as not a "I want this to happen" but as a "this will happen." 8/10 times it works.

I'm very excited about this development, because maybe I won't have to refer to books so much any more, and can focus on writing my own personal (official) BoS with all my correspondences to strengthen these base effects. Currently I only have a hodgepodge of journals, but not a real Book of Shadows. Figure it would be nice since I'm actually typing it and getting it bound, and it would make a great centerpiece in my 'workshop' if you will.

So back on topic, has anyone else been able to successfully do this? I know for a fact Mrs. Peel will have, but that's just 'cause she's a boss. xD

Actually yes, I have. It's natural, you are developing to the point where ritual tools are not necessary any more.

Half of the time now I just perform magick on the fly, with the aid of little chants. Don't forget the old stuff, it still helps.

that's only you are using the power of your mind, you are using your concentration of your mental energy, yes it works, but this is only the first level, because are a most powerful kind of magicks, but you are in the correct way; keep practicing to increase your power, learn disciplines that helps you in that way like yoga, meditation, and more things like that.
