I was reading a course in witch craft and the course had a spell that would aide in the changing the appearance of ones self and the lesson went on to explain how some of the students took the spell to far and caused problems for themselves with spell disfiguring themselves

    Wow! That's a scary thought!

I've never disfigured myself or anything and even if I did, I'm sure that going back over the work I did would fix it. I'd hate to see myself as being all screwed up like that. That's the kicker right there. It's how one manipulates their own Residual Self Image. Well, as far as manipulation of ones self goes.

Me, I tend to take a a few moments in front of the mirror every morning and as I wash my face, I SEE myself as making any changes that I deem necessary. Sometimes I do this by the light of a grey candle. With a little practice, it becomes automatic and the way you see yourself is what is projected. Beats spending money at a salon!

...And that's my beauty tip for the day. What am I, your stylist?

I always thought that Glamour spells were to do with protective magick.
Oh no wiat, that's aura blending spells. Making you "Invisible" to anyoen who's not looking for you. It's called the Chameleon spell. Blending your aura into it's surroundings.
Anyhoo. Glamour spells are used to, like people have already said, change your aura vibes. But it can also be used to enhance your natural beauty. Or so I'm told.
    Blessed Be,
    Snowfire.
Bide the Wiccan Law ye must,
In perfect love, in perfect trust.
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill:
An ye harm none, do as ye will.
What ye send forth comes back to thee,
So ever mind the Rule of Three.
Follow this with mind and heart,
And merry ye meet, and merry ye part.
